The NPCL 25th Annual International Fatherhood Conference is a national meeting of family policy makers, parent educators, family practitioners and researchers, which welcomes community partners in fatherhood work from around the world. Presentation Format Details
These sessions are 75 minute presentations that include opportunities for presenter-audience interaction. Interaction with the audience is highly encouraged. These will be mostly in-person, but a limited number of workshops presenters will be considered for virtual presentation of their workshop.
Conference Track Details
As in previous years, the conference planning committee has three workshop tracks:
Responsible Fatherhood: These sessions focus on teaching responsible fatherhood best practices for improved and sustainable program services and family resilience.
Family Strengthening and Healthy Relationships: These sessions focus on teaching family strengthening and healthy relationship methods and sharing success stories, based on evidence-based principles and practices.
Program Development and Human Social Service Innovations: These sessions focus on capability and skill development needed by project/program managers to expand and sustain fatherhood programs of all maturity levels.
Within these tracks, the topics listed below will be considered. The committee will also accept workshop applications that do not appear on the list if they are deemed relevant to fatherhood and family strengthening. Priority will be given to promising, evidence informed, or evidence-based strategies to strengthen families and improve child well-being. There will be a total of 16 workshops selected for presentation at the 25th anniversary conference.
Presenters
All communications regarding this proposal will be sent to the first speaker listed. The first speaker listed will be responsible for notifying all co-presenters regarding the status of the proposal. The number of presenters is limited to 2.
Audiovisual Requirements
IFC2023 technical production team will work with workshop presenters to identify their audio visual requirements. At a minimum, workshop presenters must provide a PDF of their slide presentation to the conference planning team by May 15.
