About it
The 2026 Conference Planning Committee calls for your participation in the 2026 Favorite Fathers Program. We want you to nominate men who deserve recognition as Favorite Fathers of 2026.
This program aims to highlight fathers from DC, Maryland, Virginia, and nationwide who demonstrate responsible fatherhood behaviors as a father, mentor, uncle, guardian, and grandparent.
The men selected to receive awards will be acknowledged at the 28th Annual International Father and Family Practitioners Conference.
Family and guests are invited to the event! Nominations closed May 29, 2026.
Why is it important?
Fathers are the foundation of strong families, but the father's absence remains a problem. Nevertheless, many men have dignified themselves as great fathers, mentors, uncles, grandparents, and guardians. Unfortunately, these men often go unrecognized for the good things they do.
The Conference’s Favorite Fathers Program will highlight men who exemplify role model behavior as fathers, mentors, guardians, uncles, and grandparents.
How to nominate?
We need your help to nominate men deserving of the Favorite Father Awards. You can submit nominations by completing an electronic nomination form to nominate a Favorite Father by clicking here.
The nominees could include fatherhood program participants, family members, friends that are a loving father/grandfather, father figure, guardian, uncle, or mentor.
Please submit your Favorite Father Nomination Forms by Friday, May 29, 2026, and include the nominator's name, contact information, and a photo of the Favorite Father nominee.
