Event location and travel information
Conference meetings and workshops will be held at the The Bethesdan Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. This is also the recommended hotel for this conference. However, there are many other options in the area. We recommend booking your room early. Group rates at the Bethesdan are available for a limited time. If you need assistance, please call the NPCL office at 202-600-7817 and leave a detailed message, including your name and the dates/ nights you need.

SELF-PARKING (covered) $40.00 per day (valet not available)
If you are traveling from outside of the D.C. metro area, there are three major airports to consider: Washington National (DCA), Baltimore-Washington International (BWI), and Dulles (IAD). Washington National Airport is the closest (miles and drive time), but BWI and Dulles are good options also. There’s much to see and do in the Washington Metropolitan area. The conference planning committee will provide more details on area attractions as we get closer to the event start date.
METRO & WALKING OPTIONS
Minutes from Medical Center Metro station. We’re a mile from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, and Medical Center Metro station is a 13-minute walk – or take our free shuttle. Enjoy the views from our seasonal rooftop pool.
GROUND TRANSPORTATION
Rental Cars. On-Airport rental car counters are located on the first floor in Terminal Garage 1. Proceed directly to the rental car counters if you have an existing reservation or need to make a reservation. If you are a rental car club member, proceed directly to the 2nd or 3rd floor of Garage1 to pick up your keys.
App-based Ride Services. Authorized Uber, Lyft, and Via drivers may pick up their customers at Reagan National. Customers can access services from their smartphone and coordinate directly with their driver for pickup location.
National Airport Taxi Services. Taxis may be found by exiting through any terminal Baggage
Claim door to the curbside where taxi lines are clearly marked.
